Solstice

Formed in 2016, Solstice (Advanced Adult) has proudly represented Queensland at the Australian National Championships every year since. They were the Silver medallists in 2025 after winning Bronze in 2024.

 

This division gives ex competitive and newer ambitious skaters a chance to compete at a higher level, whilst also enjoying the social aspect of team skating. 

 

Team Solstice is currently coached by Sally Scott and Natalie Bartlett as assistant coach, and welcomes skaters from the ages of 18 upwards. If you are interested, please enquire about our come and try days or squad options, where you can get a feel for the team, level or sport in general in a relaxed and supportive manner.

We train Wednesday nights with strength and conditioning training off the ice, then skills training and choreography during on-ice time. 

 

Advanced Adult incorporates complex synchronised elements with field moves, jumps, and lifts. Skaters in this division ideally have synchronised experience along with generally strong individual skating skills.

 

\We begin our competitive season in February and aim to compete at Club, State & National Championships in the latter half of the year, with the addition of local Gala shows once the program is complete.
